This our fourth year and first where we won't all be together in the same city. Most of us are leaving for college so we'll be split throughout Florida, Colorado, and Massachusetts.
Most of our guys are in the Baton Rouge - New Orleans corridor. But we have a few out-of-staters now, a group which I will join next season (moving to Akron, Ohio, in a few weeks). Our out-of-staters:
Houston Jacksonville Philadelphia Starkville, Miss., but soon to be living in Gainesville, Fla.
Where is Geelong? Do you have only kangaroo for neighbors?
Around the bay about an hour from Melbourne. Geelong is about 10 minutes away from Bells Beach (Pro-surf tour event location, and where Patrick Swayze dies in Point Break).
If by neighbor you mean next door, then no. If you mean within 10 minutes from my house, then yes.
Everyone in my league is from one city besides me...they call it suckville. I'm from Title Town (the real one...not that stupid highschool on the East Coast)
A majority of our owners are in Minnesota, except for one who is in school in Texas and another who attends school in Wisconsin. After next year we should all be in the same state again which will be nice.
