My car go boom today.

Either an oil valve or spark plug shot out. Pretty sure not a rod since I still have oil. You have to rotate the motor to investigate.

I don't have the tools to investigate plus I had to get to work. Good thing I have a neighbor who works out of his garage.

Good way to "wreck" a weekend.

Now that I think about it, this is the one year anniversary of my truck breaking down two weekends in a row. And my subsequent trading in of it.

Only problem I've had in the past year with the new car was a tire blowout, but that was a Goodyear Eagle, so I think that's just par for the course. They musta shipped the rest of that batch to NASCAR last weekend.

I was half expecting this thread to be about your alternator going out.
