News just in that Favre is headed to the Jets. http://www.sportsline.com/nfl/story/10921239 What impact does this have on Thomas Jones and other Jet's skill players like Coles and Cotchery?
It should help TJones a bit, helps Cotch and Coles more.
TJones may see more spacing since other teams will have to actually respect Favre's arm instead of Pennington's.
Pennington loved Coles and trusted him in the endzone...Coles did much better with Pennington than with Clemens throwing the ball. Cotch and Coles should both get a bump but for which one will be the more productive wide, I am going to guess Cotch since he has more speed and could potentially take advantage of Favre's arm strength. Watching pre-season will be important to see who Favre trusts.
Thanks to deluxe_247 for sig, he is welcome to sail with the Captain too! I will win all of the fantasy cafe games.....next year

They drafted the best TE in college, Dustin Keller.
I said this on another thread, but here goes...
Cotch probably jumps a tier. 5-6 spots or so, becoming a legit WR 2/3. Hes got the size to take advantage of those 3rd down "What the hell" tossups that Favre likes
Coles maybe jumps a spot. He won't be the primary red zone target, and his yardage will be consistent with his 3 year average...
Jones may get a few extra yards a week, but the biggest effect will be on his draft status. He loses sleeper status and will probably go a round too early.
Keller, a definate sleeper TE to watch. I guess he jumps from late 2nd to early 2nd/late first in my rookie draft. Think Olsen last year with a better QB.
Leon Washington, possibly becomes a flex option in a deep league. Will see some more passes out of the backfield, and if they wind up playing with leads they will mix him in to keep Jones fresh. Hes a guy I like in deep leagues.

Where will land Pennington, now ? Minnesota ???
QB- Tannehill, Weeden, Vick, Henne RB- A Foster, A Morris, McGahee, Jackson, B Wells, P Thomas, J Rodgers WR- Cobb, R White, Austin, D Baldwin (Sea) TE- Witten, Bennett K- Tucker DEF- SF Ind
Dynasty/16 teams H2H PLAY; 1 QB, 2 RB'S, 3 WR'S, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 D
the way TJax looked at camp yesterday... yeesh... we better get some more in there. Booty looked ok... but let's be real, booty's day coulda been a fluke. I think frerotte and bollinger are the two on the bubble and i thought frerotte was a little better. Pennington coming to Minnesota to possibly take Brooks Bollingers job again would be hilarious.
