Gotta like the looks of that...

Matt was sharp.
The O-line looked good.
The RB's ran for almost 100 yards in the first half.
And how about Jordan Kent pulling down a tough catch for a TD?

I wasn't crazy how our starting D gave up 17 first half points and 3rd and long over and over. :-C

But... go to Minny and pull out a 34-17 win in pre-season is OK by me. ;-D

I really don't put much into preseason. 4-0 or 0-4 doesn't mean anything on Kickoff Weekend.

so true, a few years back, maybe the colts or steelers or something went 0-5 and either won or went to the conference championship...

you have to like how seattle looked right away. I mentioned in the commentary thread we only had two starting defensive backs and 2 new guys on the line and pat williams was not playing. Seattle's O played against just over half of the vikes real defense... so seawolf is right... tough to take away anything from that game.

The things I can take away: Hass was sharp, very on target. His recievers were not dropping anything. Engram looked real nice on a couple grabs. Hass jumped into my radar a little more after that.

The seattle RBs and o-line were playing against and running through holes based on no pat williams and 2 new guys... 3/4 lineman did not start for us last year. You only saw Kevin Williams as a 2007 starter start this game. Granted Jared will be a starter this year. Tough to say that morris might be a good starter if he does that against the vikes run D when he faces half the real line.

Like Seawolf said you can't take much from preseason game 1... but you can take something from how sharp hass and tjack's passes were. They impressed me tonight.

Oh, I completely agree.

But I'm the guy who enjoys NFL Network re-runs of Seattle wins. So I still like a pre-season win better than a loss. It's more fun that way. :-)

heck yeah, completely agree!

I was decked out in my authentic AD jersey, vikes hat, etc last night with the wife jumpin and cheerin'

I didn't expect to see AD even play. He didn't run it, but he did draw the defense and TJack was able to roll the other way. He showed patience. I like that.

from Colts.com:

The Colts, who have won a league-best 26 regular-season games the past two seasons, have lost 10 of 11 preseason games dating to the 2004 season.

He looked good. I got your boys going 2-0 against the Favre-less Pack this year. ;-D
