in the pen... I could focus on my weightlifting a whole lot more... and 1 year later i'd be buffer and back out there... 20 years on a deserted island might be relaxing for a week... but i'd be old and probably a tad nutty when i get home.

I'm assuming that in your scenario I will make it to the completion of each term and return to my life.

If I could get myself into solitary and stay out of general population I'd take the year in prison....actually I'd take it regardless.

Considering the fact that a fair portion of the clients I work with have or are doing time in the 'Pen, and I've spent time there playing tournaments against the inmates, I'd take the one year at hard labor in a second.
