Wk 1 Preseason Commentary: Jaguars vs Falcons

One of the 2 games I'm getting right now.

Ryan looked pretty solid on that drive, culmanating in his first TD pass - a 37 yarder to Roddy White.

Ryan's looking very confident.

Garrard has a 1 yard rushing TD & a 21 yard run...4/10, 44 yards.

Ryan did look very good, poised, but I'm loving everything I hear and see from Roddy White, last year was no fluke, this guy is going to reach at least 80/1100 again, he looks uncoverable no matter who lines up over him, and if Ryan is hooking up with him this early in their careers look out...Those 2 were connecting all training camp, looks to be a sign of things to come, Roddy is a year away from being a WR1 in fantasy drafts, in keepers or dynasties I am targeting him because he has great value.

It's so odd talking about a Falcons wideout being a possible #1, but it's no joke. White really looks special and should be credited for playing so well despite not having a decent quarterback tossing him the rock last season. Two seasons ago and we were talking like the Falcons might have the ugliest wideout core in the NFC, and that White might be a major bust. How times have changed.
