We've had one long-standing husband/wife owner in my main money league, plus one other female owner who only lasted one year due to changes in her amount of free time. We have a huge draft day at my place. We grill, we draft, and families are not only allowed, they're encouraged. We get the whole draft done in about an hour and for the most part kids are not allowed in the room while we draft, but that's usually a broken rule, too. Keeping women out is kind of pointless, if you ask me.

I'm in two different leagues where the draft takes about an hour. It's a quick process when you know what you're doing.

I tend to rush through things I don't really enjoy or am in a hurry to get through. LIke intersections, mowing the lawn, etc.

As for draft day, me and my mates are not really in a hurry. We find we spill the drinks too often if we go too fast. Sorry yours is so rushed.
