Need Sleeper RB/WR help

Postby Newbee2007 » Wed Aug 13, 2008 6:05 pm

Hey guys,

What are some late round RB sleepers you guys could suggest? Who is Ray Rice?
What do you think of Kevin Walters / Patrick Crayton / D.J. Hackett / Ted Ginn Jr. as late round draft choices for WR #4? Any other good prospects come to mind?

Thanks in advance for your help!

prolly take some heat for this one but ... D'Angelo WIlliams is going very late in drafts and he is currently the starting RB in Carolina, I know folks are high on the rookie there which is exactly what leave DW open as a "Sleeper".

I like the situation for Ray Rice and I hope to grab him late, don't know much beyond the fact that he is having a good camp and McGahee had knee surgery (ok "cleaning") just a few days ago and he is usually sitting there in the 10th+

As for the other guys I don't have anything of value to say (some might say the above is of no value also LOL).

isaac bruce is a pretty good sleeper (even though he is 95 years old)...he's the number one receiver in an offense coached by mike martz...what more could you ask for...and I got him in like the 12th round in my draft so you won't have to waste any important picks to get him

Crayton is a solid pick. For RB's, Chris Johnson in Ten will be the "lightning" to LenDale White's "thunder". Michael Bush could see some decent playing time alongside McFadden in Oak. WR Robert Meachum could be ready to step up.

Crayton is a great pick this year in Dallas #2 spot especially with T.O. drawing more looks from most defenses,as far as rb I think Ricky Williams is going to wrest the starting job from Brown and hes going in the 10th+ round in most drafts.

I love Chris Johnson, Ten, as a fantastic late round sleeper in most FF drafts. I think you can get him cheap and he'll do you go. Super fast at ECU and likely to be as good in the pros. Heck, I think he'll be the next Reggie Bush. Maybe that's too far, but people say he's even faster than Bush was... so you never know.

I love Crayton picks all the time. He'll be solid player in the draft. Ted Ginn Jr. is also a good late round WR if you're digging and not finding much else... with Pennington probably going to struggle early on, not sure how I like him in early weeks... but late in the season he could pick up tempo.
Questions or Comments? Feel free to PM me.

I know that I've been given more than beyond measure.

Ray Rice got drafted by the Ravens out of Rutgers, where he was a straight up baller in the Big East. I'm gonna give him a look
