Jersey Auction League Needs Owners

The Leather Crown Cult, a first year auction league with keeper abiities, needs a handful of owners to fill our dreams of having a 12-team league. $50 to join, with all money going to the prize pool; top three teams split the pot, 60-30-10.

We're based in Hamilton, NJ, and will be doing an offline, single-round auction on Saturday, August 30, starting at 2pm. It will be a single round of bidding, with the team that nominates the player getting the final bid. Hamilton is about halfway between New York and Philadelphia, and close to trains for the non-automotive.

Scoring is pretty similar to Yahoo defaults, with one twist: your defense (no IDP) gets a five point bonus if it wins the game. I hate it when your defense gives up prevent points and you wind up getting nothing out of them.

Finaly, there is this: the league will award a championship helmet to the winner, and your name will go on it, in the form of a listing on a plate. Check it out here:
