Im such a dork, I put my projections into a spreadsheet and then add in the scoring systems to show it for my leagues.

If that makes you a dork, then I guess I am too. However, I'm too lazy to keep recalculating auction values (to determine position value) every time I want to simulate a different scenario, so I do use another site for that.

I've never done an auction league. My friends never seem interested, and if Im going to do an online draft its standard snake or bust. I just think Im too conservative to do well in one.

That said, my league mocked me mercilessly last year. I had a weighted spreadsheet for a new keeper that took projections and added multipliers for position, supporting cast, age, injury history, ect. I had Brady ranked as the #1 draft pick after all that math. Took him with the 10th pick (after Manning and Palmer) and laughed all the way to the championship game. After everyone called it a stupid pick you better believe I talked trash

Also let me get LenDale, H. Miller, Cotchery, Holt and Jacobs earlier then people expected, but well below the value at the end of the season.

A little spreadsheet knowledge goes a long way.

I know it doesn't matter because you won, but you would have been able to get players like Brady a bit later than the first and taken a bit more proven players.
