I'm in a bit of a quantry

I got caught in a running back run in my draft (7 team league) and I ended up short in this area. So, I turned my focus to WRs. Here's what I've got now:

Fred Taylor, Clinton Portis, Jamal Lewis, James Stewart at RB

Randy Moss, David Boston, Rod Smith, Keyshawn Johnson and Derrick Mason at WR

Would you trade Rod Smith for Deuce McAllister? This trade has be offered to me.

Should I be concerned about my RB situation or just play the season with 'run and gun' and go with four wide?

I would not trade any of your recievers... yet... in a couple of weeks someone could be desperate.
In the meantime, Fred is healthy (and very good when healthy) and Portis is going to be the man in Denver. I have seen Portis in a few preseason games and he is the real deal. Give him a chance and I'm sure he won't disappoint. I think with the way Denver works their offense, you will see a 1200 yard back.

Not just yet... You have three (and potentially four) starting running backs and five #1 WRs; that's pretty awesome. Stewart is a perennial underachiever, so you may want to get rid of him and get Stacey Mack for Taylor insurance.

Thanks to both of you. I tend to agree - stand pat for now. I'm hearing all this talk about RB being the most crucial position and I feel like this year I've dropped the ball at this position.

But I feel very good with my receiving corp. - maybe they'll work out.

Deuce is an enticing option though because of the dept at WR I have.

I think I'll hold for now.
