RB and WR from same team = good or bad?

Postby bdt13 » Sun Aug 24, 2008 4:38 pm

It must've been the beer, but I didn't realize til after my draft that my first two picks, Addai and Wayne, were from the same team.

Is it anything to worry about, having these two? Will one take away stats from another, or does it all even out in the end?

Don't worry about it too much. It probably eliminates weeks where both score 3 TDs but then it probably also eliminates weeks where each scores 0.

I wouldn't do it by design, but I can definitely see Addai and Wayne being the best options during a draft so don't worry about it.

I'd be more worried about Manning than anything. :~(

with Addai and wayne you should be fine.

If you had both Forte and Rashied Davis....I would not expect much

Funny stuff...I am the auctioneer in our league, and I ended up getting S-Jax and Holt...then I said "why the hell did I do that?"...oh well.

I think if you have one WR projected higher than another you should always take them instead of worrying about which team they came from. I guess I can understand the concern as I guess the scenario of getting "owned" by a defense would cause both players to suffer. Furthermore, offensive players like the Colts highly depend on the health of Peyton Manning. But still, I think if you believe one guy is going to score more than another guy at the same position, you kind of have to take him.

Heck, I barely even look at bye weeks anymore as it's just not going to stop me from grabbing that great value player. ;-D

You should be fine. Just don't get any other RB's or WR's with a week 4 bye.
