Now, i know it is hard, if not downright next to impossible, to be a productive rookie WR, but 2 people that have at least had great camps and have shown some ability as rookies are Eddie Royal for the Denver Broncos, and Josh Morgan from the 49ers. Now, with injuries to other players and good camps for them, it sounds like their both getting an oppurtunity to start. Now, i am not a Hokies fan at all or anything, but You have to question if poor QB skills couldve hindered these 2 guys to show their abilites to the full extent. I am not saying anything concrete at all, but I just found it really weird that 2! VT Rookie WRs have been impressive so far. Anybody have any thoughts? open to anything. Call me crazy if you must

You're not crazy. Actually, a third VT wide receiver (David Clowney) was having a great camp with the Jets before he broke his collarbone. Clowney's a second year player, but close enough I think. Plus here's something from Rotoworld:

49ers coach Mike Nolan stopped short of naming rookie wideout Josh Morgan a starter in Sunday's post-exhibition game presser.
Perhaps if Bryant Johnson (hamstring) returns this week he'll have a chance to unseat Morgan, but the Virginia Tech product may be proving too good to keep out of the lineup. The success of former Hokies receivers this summer (also Eddie Royal, David Clowney) makes you wonder what's taken so long for Frank Beamer to give up on QB Sean Glennon.
