What is expected from him this year? I know he has an injury right now but I think if he is healthy he could be a top 8 TE this year. With Baltimore's weak passing attack I think dump offs to the TE are going to happen a lot. Can he be trusted as a TE #1 this year?

smith starting and weak offense is what lead me to drafting him. te's are usually there for young qb's to look to,and heap is always a RZ target. i'm decently high on him and expect him to put up 6-7 td's hopefully.

i dont trust him to stay healthy. i wish i could, but ive given up hope on heap. if he does manage to stay healthy this year, he will more than reward whoever took him as late as he is going.

Exactly. Noone questions his ability. His performance hinges on his health which is unpredictable.

Just seems to be going much lower this year. he always had injury concerns, but he was still a top 5 TE pick.

Not saying I disagree at all with the ranking, just suprised he has fallen so far so fast.
