Looks like Dee's article is up now, I figured we should have a place to discuss it since we typically garner pages of discussion about each week's. Might be a bit shorter this week since the games are about to start though.

I'm off to the Florida/Hawaii game now, so I'll have to take a closer look when I get back.

Btw, looks like I screwed up one of my teams when transferring my teams over from my list to the spreadsheet. I left Texas Tech off, they were supposed to be #20 (right now I have TT unranked and no team ranked #20).

Still, its my job to check something like that. I know you pretty well, and for you not to have TT in the top 25 stood out to me, and normally I would have double checked.

Vader -- your number 1 pick wasn't so crazy after all . I have them over UGA because of the schedule that UGA plays. I think OK can go undefeated and I do no think UGA can

I like the Sooners O and D lines, schedule and QB...I think they will have a nice season. Injuries and that killer schedule is going to bite Georgia in the ass.

Some observations:

Wisconsin got ranked anywhere from 7 to 15. I like them and have em at 9.
Texas Tech was ranked anywhere from 8 to 25. I have em at 15 and could have put them higher.
Kansas was ranked anywhere from 8 to 19 (not sure if Swiper left them out on purpose or not). I have them at 14 and think they are in for a rude awakening this year.
I'm the only one to rank Georgia outside the Top 5.
Clemson was ranked anywhere from 6 to 17. I have them at 7 and think ranking them 17 is crazy.


Things will obviously really start to shake out come Week 2...can't for another great year of football!!

I ranked Va Tech way down at 22 for a reason. Perfect example of a team getting ranked in the Top 15 only on name recognition.
