I don't hold the pre-injury PT against Bradshaw because it's a different situation this year. It may end up being the case again but for different reasons. Last year you had a 1st year player transitioning to the NFL and the Giants system as well as being in Coughlin's dog house due to the fumble.

Well the only league I have Jacobs in is in my money league, and I have Westbrook, Jacobs, Ronnie Brown, J-Stew and now Bradshaw...since I only start 2 RBs I am in decent shape should an injury arise.

Not having the right one (Ward/Bradshaw) won't kill me...and since it seems a toss up...I will side with Bradshaw.

I've told everybody all offseason that Bradshaw is overrated. Ward is good and he's gonna get the nod if Jacobs goes down (which I think is likely). Even still, he got like 9 carries tonight which isn't too shabby.

No he wasn't. He returned the opening kickoff.

I wouldn't even call this a handcuff situation. It's more like Jax or Carolina - they run the offense through the RBs so much, and they don't seem to have a designated short yardage back. They just kind of rotate each back in for 4 or 5 plays at a time. The exception here being that Ward appeared to be in for a majority of passing situations.

I'm a Jacobs owner, and I really have no problem with this. He still got plenty of touches, and should have had a couple more catches on screens if the timing wasn't all screwed up. I think there is plenty of work here for both backs. Jacobs is the easy favorite, but Ward should not be on the waiver wire in most leagues.

OK he was active but he does have a calf issue and he was on the injury report. He did run the opening KR but never made another appearance. Even if the Giants decided to keep him out of the RB rotation, he would have been in on the other 2? KRs.

I saw him get his butt chewed for running that first kickoff out of the endzone that got stopped inside the 15. And yeah, maybe he wasnt 100%, but it sure looked like Ward is going to get a fair share of the carries.

I think Ward is the #2. If Jacobs goes down...I see a split of carries between Ward and Bradshaw. SO IF Jacobs goes down, that doesnt mean Wards stock rises a ton...
