Whats the future hold for FWP?

Postby dmacblue » Wed Sep 03, 2008 4:24 pm

Im actually quite liking him for the first part of this year, possibly all of it. But in a dynasty is he a risky acquisition with Mendy in town?

Do we see Mendy taking the full time gig and FWP becoming a backup, or does FWP become the Staley to Mendys Bus?

I have the chance to get FWP via trade, so id truily appreciate any thoughts/insight for 2008 and the future.

Thanks guys ;-D

IMO Willie Parker is being a bit under rated going into this year. People are quick to forget that he was teh NFL's leading rusher going into week 13 before he broke his leg. Yes they drafted Mendenhall but they only did because he fell to them. They didnt go into the draft looking to spend an early piock on a RB. His lack of tds last year was a bit of a fluke IMO and while he'll never be a TD machine like some rbs, he is definately starting rb quality. Mendy will steal some carries as will Moore on 3rd down but FWP will still get 20 touches a game IMO. In this day of RBBC, 20 touches a game is not such a bad thing....
