Also just saw the end of the UCF/USF game, and now there's one I don't get. UCF gets the ball in OT, and on 4th down Greco scrambles and gets tackled right on the 1st down marker. They measure and rule him short.
Here's the thing though. The ball is spotted on the 15 yard line to measure. On the line. In overtime, you start on the 25 yard line. On the line. So first of all, why did they even measure since there first down line is essentially painted on the field in that case, and secondly how in the heck was he short if the ball was on that first down line painted on the field?
It's been discussed at length already but man that rule just screwed Washington. Locker simply tossing the ball away after scoring a TD that ties the game with a good PAT, just brutal and I hope they look into this ASAP.
Wash did get screwed. I hope they change that rule. Give the guy a break. That is a huge upper to score a possibly tying Td for your team to go to OT if the extra is made.

Yep, I was wondering if anyone saw that. That was a horrible call. Tossing the ball in the air after a game tying TD is unsportsmanlike? Ok.
