I was at the game. Coles wasn't playing every down. That's the main reason his numbers weren't higher. My guess at the time was that they were just being cautious with him, since he wasn't 100% going into the game.
Had to sweat that one out, literally & figuratively.
Of the new additions, Favre looked like Favre.
Pace & Jenkins looked really good. I didn't watch Faneca that much but overall the O-Line played pretty good. It was a little inconsistent. Gholston seemed non-existent. I don't think I heard his name called once. Good start to the season though and a win is a win.
That was the 4th Jets/Miami game I've been to since I've lived in Florida (Jets are 4-0 in those games so I should go every year
). I've never seen so many Jets jerseys at a Miami game. It was like the Meadowlands South and we even had some "defense" chants going at times. I wouldn't want to go to another game in September though. The heat was absolutely brutal.
Was very happy that I picked up Fasano on Saturday in the CA league right before I left. We start 2 TE's and Watson was doubtful before I left.
