Feeble looking 2 min offence by the Lions. Every pass short crossing crap, not attempt to go downfield on what is considered a poor Atlanta secondary. Nice to see Roy Williams trotting out routes in the first half of week 1. Way to cry Roy.

Okay considering how the game started we are in about as good of shape as you could ask for. I dont however understand what we are going to do about this special teams problem. Its pretty major.

Don't get to excited about Michael Turner. I think having more opportunities will obivously help and make him much more fantasy relevant instead of being a fantasy handcuff to LT, but the Lions never seem to have it all together in a single season. One year they are solid in something but horrible in another.
This year I think their run defense is not going to be that great and it shows. Their front seven is nothing special outside of Corey Redding (DT) and Ernie Sims (a weakside LB). They traded away a defensive tackle (Shaun Rogers) for a cornerback (Bodden from CL) and their LB's are rather inexperienced outside of Ernie Sims.

What special teams problem? Our coach wants no penalties on special teams so he would rather not set up returns that can gain yards because of the risk for penalty. That is what coach NimRod wants. See, if it doesn't directly involve the D, coach Nimrod doesn't know much about it. Or care.

Kitna INT. Roy wasn't even looking, pretty sure Kitna will rat him out when it comes time to take responsibility for this turnover. Nice 38 yd INT return by Milloy.
