Good call ;-D

Big big fan of Greeny, but he was #3 of 3 last night.

Yet you continue to listen to the forced and annoying shtick he and Golic perform every morning.. :-)

I can only hope and pray to the football GODS that someone reads this with any power to rid us of Kornheiser on MNF. I have to literally turn down the sound as to not have to listen to his incessant whining, uninformed drivel. AT LEAST eject this tool from our living rooms, someone for the love of all that is good and true, please. I'll even put up with the deplorable Denver v. Oakland type games from time to time if it means no kornheiser.

I just wish they could throw Dick Vermeil back out there with someone. That guy was the best and most informative commentator I have ever heard.

Agreed. Vermeil always seems to have something informative and entertaining to say. Would love it if they could bring back Mike Patrick and pair him with Vermeil. Not that big a fan of the third man in the booth, too forced. Rare are the Cosells who could pull it off.

At first I thought you said Dick Vitale and wanted to comment "what the hell are you talking about?" :-b

Interesting. Most of the replies in this thread are in stark contrast to most of the replies in a post on another football forum I frequent. Pretty much everyone criticizing the team on the other forum.

I personally didn't like them from what I was able to catch. I didn't care much for either Greeny as a PBP guy or for Ditka as a color guy. Golic was decent. One of the problems was they were all rushing a bit too much to say something, which lead to almost non-stop talking at times as well as causing overlaps and interruptions with each other talking though that could resolve as they get comfortable doing broadcasts together. I also don't care for a 3 man booth as a few people have previously mentioned and would generally prefer one color guy and one PBP guy.

Jaws is actually quite adept at game analysis and breaking down plays, though he is better suited in his former role of doing so in breaking down film from previous games (forget the show, NFL Matchup, maybe?) then being in the booth for a live broadcast.
All of my analysis is based on PPR

Brian Billick did an awesome job during the Saints game (I think?). I wasn't a huge fan of him as a coach, but as an analyst I could listen to him talk football all day.
