One of those days

Postby knapplc » Tue Sep 09, 2008 9:12 am

You ever just have one of those days where everything strikes you the wrong way, your reactions to everything are way off, and/or your whole combobulation is just... discombobulated?

How do you get out of those doldrums? What's your secret method for righting the ship?

I go to the bar. It's immature, and possibly counter-productive, but it's what I do. When I get out of work, I head over and have a few drinks, see if I can get a few friends to meet up, and drown the day away. Not recommending it, but it's what I do.

Anytime I have a bad day, my favorite way of "righting the ship" is attempting to make the largest possible explosion while playing Halo 2. Oooor playing a game where i can kill lots of enemies. yeah its weird, but its calming. It works for me :-b

I used to play boxhead quite a bit, the 2D zombie killing game. It's a decent diversion, but somehow I've never been all that assuaged by digital mayhem.

Great word ;-D , but I hate days like that. Wish I had a fix, all I do is ride it out and hope I don't do anything too terribly bad. :-o :-b

Or that you can erase some of the worst of it? That's the avenue I took. :-S
