Physical activity or a healthy snack. Either get the blood flowing or take in nutrients that you might be missing which may be contributing to your discombobulation.

Yeah I was gunna say, take a nap, or failing that, get out in the sunshine and fresh air for a walk if you can. Amazing what some 'shine and fresh air can do.
If you don't have those means at your disposal, just make sure someone else is having a worse day than you.

Naps don't work for me. I've tried and if I actually succeed at dozing off I get up slouchy and grumpy. So I don't even try anymore, no matter how tired I may think I am.
Here's something that's pretty nice when you have a sore throat.
1 mug 1 mugfull of water 90 seconds 1 microwave (combine with above ingredient) 1 some lemon juice 1 some honey 1 spoon
Do that whole microwavey thing to the mugfull of water. This works best if you put the mugfull of water inside the mug. Once water is hot, remove from microwave. Apply exact amount specified of honey and lemon juice to hot water. Use spoon to agitate water, honey and lemon in such a way that they combine to form a new substance.
