Elam replacement

I'm looking at picking up a temporary replacement for Elam, who knows how long he'll be down. So a week 10 substitution is good, but also someone with good upside the rest of season...just in case. My options are

Edinger
Anderson, Gary (K-Ten)
Carney, John (K-NO)
Brown, Josh (K-Sea)
Cundiff, Billy (K-Dal)
Hall, John (K-Was)
Elling, Aaron (K-Min)
Brien, Doug (K-NYJ)

What do you think?

For the rest of the season, I would go with either Brown or Elling. Elling kicks indoors, so that is a huge advantage, but Brown has been a solid play all year.

I'm intrigued by Stover as Baltimore has a good run game, but poor passing game. It seems they kick a lot of Field Goals...is he better or worse then the other guys mentioned.

How does Elling kick outside? Is he reliable? Josh Brown probably kicks more FG's then Elling as Seattle isn't as potent as MIN.

i'm in the same position as you are...losing Elam to injury. i like Stover because of the way Baltimore plays: they have a tremendous running game and a mediocre quarterback. They win by stalling and often times survive off of field goals. Plus, Stover kicks extra points when they do score and while his range is not as long as Elam, he gets as many opportunities to score if not more.

Go with Elling or Brown. Both play on high scoring teams. Watch for Hall, if the Skins get anything going, he can boot 'em from 50+ no problem. Had him before thier bye and was very happy with his producyion.

I like Gary Anderson. He has 8 FGs in the 40-49, which in a lot of leagues is worth extra points. Tennessee also has been blowing teams out which is good for XPs to pad the totals.

Elam is out week 10 regardless, due to the bye week.
