Whats True Blood about?
vampires, more modern... decent show
it's by Six Feet Under creator Alan Ball so i'm expecting it to be pretty good...1st episode was above average i'd say
quick premise...Vampires are "out of the coffin" and co-exist among the living because they no longer have to feed on humans since the Japanese created a synthetic blood drink. the show is set in backwoods Lousiana (is that an oxymoron ) so they face their share of discrimination. also...Vamp Blood appears to be the new Meth

So they don't feed on humans at all? Can they go out in the daylight? Can you see their reflections in mirrors. What about garlic? Do they still have to avoid Italian?

Yeah, I saw the preview show on Sunday. It sucked. Great concept, stupid execution. They need to take these Japanese show concepts and make them competitions and not the who can be more stupid show.

But here's the deal, give me that show and I think I could make it watchable. Just take away all the stupidity. It looked like a bunch of 12 year olds out there doing the most immature things possible. Turn it into more of a competition and it could have a good appearance every now and then I think. Really a cool concept, but the whole let's all act like 10-year old schtick looked fake and got old really fast.
