Wisconsin over Ohio State? Didn't Wisconsin trail Marshall by 2 TD's in the 2nd quarter last week? I know Ohio State lost Wells and wasn't impressive against Ohio but are they that bad?

How does this make any sense? You're saying Wisconsin can't be as good because they trailed Marshall early before opening the floodgates and pouring on a 51-14 victory, but the team you're saying they can't be better than trailed a worse team much later in the game and won closely after that team had a few special teams blunders. Ohio played OSU almost evenly on offense (OSU outgained them by only 18 yards), and Boeckman averged 4 yards per attempt......passing.

Ok, I see that my argument was flawed.

However, I still have a hard time putting a Wisconsin team ahead of Ohio State when Ohio State returns basically their entire team from a NC runner up squad. Sure, you have your Michigans of the world where no matter how talented and how many players you return you're just awful but for the most part, when teams return a huge number of talented players, those teams are pretty good (think USC (04-05) and LSU (06-07)). That logic is nonetheless equally flawed but I just think OSU is a better team than they showed in the Ohio game.

If they beat USC they will go up and if they lose they go way down. Show me on the field. As for Wisconsin...they won in a landslide you can't hold a quarter of play against em.

Miami got a vote from me because they looked a lot better than a lot of teams I've been watching. I've watched at least one quarter of about 20 games so far this year, and over half of those, I watched over half. I've probably watched six full games (on my kitchen TV - my daughter has taken over the family room ).

From what I've seen, Miami (FL) has a competitive team. There are a LOT worse teams out there. A lot.

They showed me a lot in the game against us. They have a lot of speed. I think Miami's OC had too conservative of a gameplan against us though. Their defense is back though.

The soonest I can get mine in weekly is Wednesday. Looks like I always miss the deadline. I don't want to hold up the rankings so maybe I can act as an alternate if someone can't get theirs in.

I almost put Miami in my top 30 because their defense was impressive for almost that entire game. If their Offense had done anything through the first 3 quarters I can easily see them pulling that upset.

I'm not ready to jump on the Arizona State bandwagon yet. Their O-line has been porous in the last few years and I haven't seen anything yet to tell me the problems have been fixed. Stanford is a program on the rise but they can't be considered decent competition yet. We'll get an accurate reading when Georgia visits Sun Devil Stadium in a few weeks.
