Ducks escaped with one in what was a very ugly game. They have the talent to be a top 10 team but they definitely didn't play like it today.

Not at all. They hung in there though and got an ugly win. Like I said I hope Roper's knee isn't anything serious. :-o

Thanks fellas. ;-D

Again I hope Roper's OK. We have 3 home games coming up starting with Boise St. and Wazzu both of which we should be able to handle, then we get USC....yikes! 8-o

Check this out, I have an old dingy Ducks hat that I never wear unless the Ducks are struggling and they need some luck. I dug it out of my closet during the 4th quarter sported it, and it worked like a charm again. I think Bellotti should shoot me a phone call and thank me. :-B :-b

HUGE INJURY FOR NOTRE DAME

Weis on crutches after getting hit on sideline

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP)—Notre Dame coach Charlie Weis injured his left leg during the Michigan game when an Irish player was blocked into him during a punt return late in the second quarter.

Irish defensive end John Ryan, who is 6-5, 264 pounds, hit Weis in the leg. Weis, who was looking the other direction, never saw the hit coming and was knocked to the ground. Weis remained on the sideline on crutches with his leg in a wrap for the rest of the half.

“I was following the ball down the field there was nothing I could do, nothing they could do,” Weis said as he left the field before halftime.

Torn ACL and MCL.

Ouch that sucks for ND! :-t

Man Washington is playing Oklahoma tough to start this. 8-o

You guys see that tunnel situation between the two teams? That's some classless BS by Oklahoma. :-t

Ghaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.....

Ugly, but a win! My guess is we just lost our second QB for awhile or the season. It didn't look good. But, I like Masoli alot. And I absolutely LOVE Blount! What a beast. :-o

As stoked as I am about the win over Cal today, it just makes me even more mad about losing to Middle Tennessee State last week. 3-0 with a win over Cal would have been looking good, but instead we're 2-1 with a good win and an awful loss.
