Everyone's opinion on when he'll come back, and how well he'll play when he comes back... it's all wasted breath. It doesn't matter how you feel "he catches with his hands." No offense, but I'm going to want to hear this stuff from the team, or from the player, or from a physical therapist that works with NFL players, or else it's just straight garbage. I can understand why you guys are debating when he'll return, and I can understand making a decision, for yourselves, about what quality of play he'll give when he does return, but as soon as you want to debate with each other about who is right and who is wrong... which one of you is really qualified to even have an opinion that is worth truly debating on the matter?
Week 6 to week 9, someone had to be right. Now everyone who guessed right can snap together a bogus argument about WHY they knew it would be that week, and how great they are.

Well it's pretty complicated. You take the expected time frame he will be out and use that to base your prediction on.
I wasn't trying to 'predict a week' for his return - I was trying to establish his value for those looking to trade him/for him.
I'm very seriously considering it. No joke. I know it's a crap-shoot... but I also know that if I DON'T start him, he's gonna score 73 tds and 1600 yards. Or something. Wait. Can I borrow that krystal ball?

Sounds to me like he will be used as a 3rd WR, similar to the way Meachem is being used.
In the league where I still own the guy, I'm rolling with Lance Moore no question.
I don't understand why they would just use him as a 3rd WR. If his thumb is healthy, I don't see why they wouldn't just plug him back into his usual role. It's not like he had a leg injury which prevented him from staying in shape. If he can catch balls in practice, they might as well move him to the #1 slot come game time.
