A fair point when you think about it...
shaun alexander and jamal lewis cannot even be compared. shaun was the product of a a system running behind one of the best lines in football when he excelled...and also had a strong threat of passing game to keep defenses honest. jamal rushed against 8+ men in the box every down and always has had a great deal of talent ( after the 2 major injuries he never was the same 2000 yard runner, but he is still a beast). the only reason jamals production dipped at the end of his stint in baltimore was because we rushed him back from his ankle surgery and it made him tiptoe all year. the reason alexanders production dropped was because he lost hutch and didnt have the canyons to run through anymore, and he was exposed. he had a nose for the endzone, but i have serious doubts that SA will excel if he ever gets another shot.
