hey all ...its been quite a while since i made myself a new sig. usually i just cycle ones i made years ago . anyways, comments or suggestions appreciated
The football hand got a little pixelated where the light is coming off of it. Maybe a smoother glow or shine would be a little better, but that's just me. Other than that, I LOVE it. Great composition, design, and as always with you, color.
yeah..i see what you mean. it actually isnt even a glow, its a stock photo i overlayed, then tweaked the settings to make it have the look of a shine/glow, then added a white blurred brush overlay over that to make it bling.
heres the stock photo i used for the shine effect on the ball:
so i went in and erased the stock photo around his hand....look any better?
I can't see that much of a difference actually. Yeah, I am more referring to right where the "burst" happens, it looks like its trying to be a starburst, but instead is looking fragmented. Really nothing major, just the one thing that I noticed a bit.

they can be tough to cut out, if I recall correctly. I did one with LT one time that took bloody forever to cut.

Yeah I made this uber generic Steve Slaton one with a signature in it. I messed around with different layers and stuff but noting looked right and I gave up on it.
First, don't use a stroke on the signature and you want it to be fairly light (as in Lux's) most of the time. Also, either a few different handwriing fonts mixed together or signing a fake signature on a piece of paper and scanning it are usually just as good as actually cutting a real one out.
