I'm not sure I understand why he wouldn't win the Heisman if he won the Maxwell and only QBs are nominees. Yes, I know that Bradford will likely win, but it just doesn't make sense to me.

Maxwell goes to the best all round player. It is essentially the Heisman, but voted on by different people. The O'Brien is the QB trophy.

Congrats. Can't argue, but then I wouldn't have argued had any of them won. Great year for QBs.

I think it shows how much voters admired the big 12 in general if you look at the vote breakdown. Despite getting the most 1st place votes, Tebow got 3rd. This means that basically everyone who voted Bradford or McCoy first voted the other second.
