You guys that didn't assume Moss's stats would be affected should know better.
If you read the post you might have noted that the guy was complaining about Moss's production on Sunday.
I don't think the Jets were going to allow Moss to burn them again. Against KC, most of the damage done by Cassell was to Moss, so I think the Jets figured if they covered Moss, Cassell would try to force it, and might throw a few interceptions. But it looks like Cassell is smarter than that.
Also, Cassell just wasn't throwing many long passes. The one he did throw was a little short, and Moss had to come back, and ended up getting blocked by someone, so that he dropped it.
