I don't care if FSU comes back to beat Wake, they are not good at all. They have more penalty yards than offensive yards right now (start of the 4th quarter), and if it wasn't for Wake shooting themselves in the foot they would be down by 3 TDs at least.

I was one of the only people who did not have them in my top 30. They played 2 DII schools and dominated them and everyone was impressed. I agree they are better off without Weatherford and will be better defensively when they get the rest of their starters back, but they looked AWFUL on offense. Wake's defense is good, but wow. They have to play COL in JAX next week too.

I don't think it was as much people being impressed as it was there not really being many other teams to put there. With the exception of a couple teams in the top 5, almost everyone has looked awful this year.

Really, at this point a team that is 0-0 looks better than most of the teams that are ranked this year, which is essentially where FSU sat coming into this week (0-0 against D1 teams).

Jared Lee really made up for his bone head pass in the first half. He looked liked a different QB out there in the second half.

Feel bad for Hatch. He really looked messed up after that hit. He was definitely in lala-land.

Coach Miles really shined in the game. I questioned him taking Hatch out in the first half but I am totally humbled after his play calling in the second half. The guy has a lot of guts making some of the calls he makes but they are always paying off for him. Throwing in a HB toss pass and onside kick(both of which worked) was very gutsy. Very aggressive play calling at the end of the game. The throw to LaFell for the game winner was truly gutsy. Miles is one entertaining coach to watch.
