CBS's can't cut list...

Postby taw856 » Wed Sep 17, 2008 5:36 pm

...does not include Ronnie Brown or Thomas Jones, both of whom were dropped by an 0-2 team that's tanking. Does include Edgerrin James, whom I can't drop to pick up either Brown or Jones.

Ugh.
BOLD PICKS FOR 2013
A. Rodgers outscores D. Brees in ESPN standard scoring by 40+.
D. McFadden plays 16 games (but ineffectively for someone whose only problem we always assumed was health).
M. Lynch=not a Top 10 RB.
V. Cruz=Top 7 WR.
G. Tate=Top 36 WR.

None of any of the mentioned RBs should be on any Can't Cut List.

Yay they fixed it. Now watch someone with a high waiver priority claim them and it all be a moot point. :-b ;-D

If your league necessitates a "can't cut list" you shouldn't be in that league in the first place. :-b

Needless to say I don't think can't cut lists should exist in any league.

I dunno. I think there's some validity to the idea I just think most sites don't do it right. Everyone taken above a certain round in the draft or who is ranked in the top portion of players at their position shouldn't be cut, so it shouldn't be a problem for them to be on a can't cut list.

I just don't get how a tenth round pick (Edge) who hasn't scored a TD despite playing Miami and San Francisco the first two weeks found his way on there. :-b

Also, the sites tend to be slow to remove injured players from can't cut lists, which is equally inconvenient for people trying to replace them. :-t

I'd agree with you if it weren't a public league. You ought to be able to trust friends/competitors to want a good league that isn't messed up by someone bailing.

But hey, how else can ya really protect a public league? ;-)
