Smaller the league, bigger the starting lineup?

Postby jbel1021 » Mon Sep 22, 2008 4:14 pm

for example, 10 team league u start 2 QBs, 4 WR, 3 RB, 1 TE, 2 W/R?

or if u have 8 teams, 3 QBs, 6 WR, 5 RB, etc..?

do u usually prefer smaller leagues with bigger lineups or keeping it standard such as 1 QB, 3 WR, 2 RB, 1 TE?

like last year in a 12 team league, we started 2 QB, 3 WR, 2 RB, TE, W/T, 2 W/R and I found that ppl were just picking up these sleepers and starting them every week and getting big points. but the way I figure it, I think if u keep the lineup somewhat smaller than that, it requires u to really pick the best player to start and plug into ur lineup, instead of just starting a whole mess of players.

thoughts?

Yeah, I like the whole league size gets bigger as the amount of people get smaller. It adds a new level to the league and really shows off some players that wouldn't really be considered in other leagues.
