The lions without Matt Millen?????????

It is not easy being a lions fan. With that said..... is it going to get any better now that Millen is actually gone? I am still a believer that a fish rots from the head down, and even though this was a good move to keep ticket sales up.. I don't know that this will change the mantality of this team (yet it's definatly not going to hurt). The lions have sucked for over 50 years what makes anyone think that the next GM that Ford Sr. selects will be any different than the others in the past? My suggestion..... Bill Cower or Jimmy Johnson. WHAT DOES EVERYONE ELSE THINK?

Welcome to the Cafe, Kibbey. I think the Lions will try the rest of the season with Tom Lewan(sp) sharing the GM duties. Concerns would be that they don't fire NimRod Marinelli. If they keep him, he will keep rolling out his old Tampa retreads and other vets to try and win enough games to save his neck. So any young talent the Lions might have accidentally drafted won't see the playing time they could use to develop, or be exposed. Fire NimRod now, keep the progress rolling.
