Any thoughts on if Keller is becoming a bigger part of that O?

I have him in a few leagues. He was on the brink of getting cut. I wouldn't get him until he shows he can do it again. Though the matchup is better, @Pit, or vAri...

Who would you cut for Keller?

Keller has a lot of potential and the Jets seem to continue to increase that amount of looks he's getting each week. I think he can be a big factor in the Jets passing game once Favre and everyone get on the same page. Jets are on bye after this week and I think Favre will look a lot better in the offense following the bye week.

I really like this guy, alot, but he's not a big part of the offense quite yet, they are working his way there...He put up some stats against the Chargers because it was so much garbage time and basically nothing but passes, he's not more valuable then John Carlson right now, but end of season he could be the one you want more.

I dropped Heap for Keller...

Its funny you mention Carlson, he's actually my starter but he's on a bye, The Jets are playing AZ at home this weekend, its the Giants that have a bye. Im hoping that he will be a bigger part of the O this weekend. My league is PPR so hopefully he gets alot of looks. Being a Hawks fan Id like to see a shoot out with the Jets coming out on top!!

Ive asked a few Jets Forums if they hear anything bout Keller becoming a bigger part of their O but havent gotten any helpful responses just yet! Anyone else have any insight or feelings on this?

I can see Keller becoming a huge part in the Jets offense in the upcoming weeks. Favre will be much more familiar with the offense and whatnot after the bye week so I'm definitely going to contemplate picking up Keller.

I drafted Keller as my second TE, and I've watched every Jets play. He is a rookie, and quite honestly is playing like one. For every average play he makes, he also makes a boneheaded one. I haven't seen any 'Wow' plays from him yet.

This wouldn't concern me except that the Jets have two other TEs who also see playing time, and are veterans. Until Keller stops making mistakes, I don't see him getting increased work. I think what we've seen so far is what we can expect for the forseeable future. Long-term, I think he's going to get it worked out and become the main guy at that position. But I wouldn't expect him to do anything dramatic for your fantasy team, at least for the first half of the season.

Just my opinion...hopefully I'm wrong, because Dallas Clark is driving me bezerk.
