I'm a commish in a league and one of the owner's pts. total changed and I have no idea why. I was thinking it could have been an official scoring ammendment by the league or something. It resulted in a tie for him rather than a win. Any place to find out about any chages of this kind?

This the "What's New" listed by myfantasyleague.com. If you scroll all the way to the bottom they highlight the NFL/Elias Sport Bureau official scoring changes week to week. However, they've yet to list anything for wk 9.
