There are gonna be a lot more upsets this weekend in my opinion. There are tons of ranked teams headed for road intra-conference games.
Some good games:
Pitt @ USF (Thur)
Penn State @ Purdue
Oklahoma @ Baylor
Kentucky @ Alabama
Texas Tech @ Kansas State
Auburn @ Vandy
Oregon @ USC
Ohio State @ Wisc
Mizzou @ Nebraska
5 of the 6 ranked Big 12 teams go on the road this weekend. Interesting note: Texas' brutal schedule includes all 5 other ranked teams while Mizzou misses Oklahoma and Texas Tech in the regular season. Just because a team is in a conference doesn't mean they play all of the good teams in that conference. The same is true of the SEC where Georgia plays Florida, LSU, Auburn, Bama, and Vandy while Florida plays Georiga, LSU, and Vandy. Scheduling is very important.
There are 12 ranked teams going on the road this weekend and 3 games that involve two teams that are ranked. We are definitely in for another wild weekend in my opinion. There are a lot of very big spreads for a lot of these road teams and I just don't see why.
Florida -25 @ Arkansas?
Oklahoma -27 @ Baylor?
Texas -14 @ Colorado?
Missouri - 11 @ Nebraska?
Those are four very large spreads for intra-conference road games. And I know these teams have been impressive at times but do they really warrant these kinds of spreads?
