Yea, I gave him one argument on the anti side and how to counter it. I know the arguments on both sides, and I agree it is a lot easier to counter someone when you know their side.
Hehe, I remember most of my teachers banning writing about the death penalty, reasons being a) too common, b) not as much effort needed to research, and c) too common. Same with a few other topics, like abortion and gun control.

I didn't pick it...I was assigned it. However it's not just a paper, it's a debate, making it a bit more work.
On a serious note though, it's really awesome how much help you've gotten. It really speaks to the nice community that we have here, and I think it's awesome that we've developed that and that the cafe has come this far.
I am in a criminal justice class, so I'll glance at the readings that I've had tomorrow (I don't have access to my things right now, but I probably will tomorrow). Anyway, if I find something useful, I'll definitely post it, although I can't guarantee there will be anything relevant.
