I'm guessing this type of emotional reaction isn't unusual. What is unusual is telling people about it. You tend to see this with older guys, typically QBs. Favre's been doing it for years. Normally you wouldn't tell the press about your 'weaknesses' - these guys get old enough and they're like your grandpa...they'll tell anybody anything they want. They could care less what you think about it.
In any case, good to see Boldin should have no long term effects.
