Why Spanish? I dunno....viva consigo. :-B

Anyway great news! So as most of you guys know my life has taken a few tumultuous turns over the past few years....Cliffs Notes version: lost my mom, left my home and job in Oregon, cared for pops, lost my pops, losing his house in Cali....that pretty much brings us up to date. So Shannon left her job here on Oct.1st and headed up to Portland to find work and a place for us to live. She's staying with a girlfriend and had thought she might have a job already lined up but that never panned out....anyway she's been to lots of interviews and has some very promising leads, plus she has some freelance work. I'm going back to school(picture Rodney Dangerfield :no respect: )...YAY!! So the great news is she found us a the perfect house already! We're sadly renters again but what ev. I'm totally amazed right now, we were expecting to be looking for at least a month. All of our friends said it was going to be tough to find a place that would work with my stiff stipulations. 1) it had to have a garage for the old Impala(a plus if it's attached). 2) it had to have a backyard for Ginger. 3) Had to be close to campus. 4) and be in our price range. :-o

She found...in really only 4 days of looking...a place that meets that criteria plus some. The house has an attached garage, a nice sized backyard, I could literally through a rock to my campus and is very affordable. Plus the owner(super cool lady) is a private owner which means no property management company....WORD! No pet fees and she didn't even have to meet Ginger...and she doesn't care she's a pit bull....and she didn't even have to meet me...and she doesn't care that I'm a dog either. :-B

So I'll FINALLY be getting the hell out of Cali the first week of November and should be roasting my Thanksgiving turkey in Oregon! WOOT! B-)

I actually like the rain so I'm good there, hopefully I'll be able to catch a game this year. The wedding? Remember me saying we're probably gonna have a long engagement....I wasn't kidding.....She ain't going anywhere though. :-b
