Chambers out, VJax in?

I was never sold on Vjax. I actually drafted him late and ended up dropping him early in the year due to the way he is utilized in his offense. I mean look at his stats..he usually catches 2-3 balls for large gains. He acts as their sneaky home-run threat, that is underutilized. Now with Chambers out whos going to catch all those TD passes. Im looking for Vjax to get twice as many looks earlier on in the game. Anybody have any insight on the matchup?

Depends on who else you're working with, personally it's between Vjax, Moose or Mctrain as my flex...im going with Mctrain...

Jackson certainly stands to benefit here, but I don't know if its enough for me to start him ahead of Torry Holt or anything like that. Maybe if he had a better defensive matchup, but NE still has a pretty good pass defense (if nothing else....)

I am considering starting V-Jax over Housh this week. Chambers is out, Gates' hip is bothering him, and LT just ain't the same right now. Factor in that Ellis Hobbs is covering V-Jax at 4 inches shorter and 46 lbs. lighter. Jump ball in the end zone anyone???

Gates may be hampered by a hip injury, but many expect to see Brandon Merriweather covering Gates which is a huge mismatch in both height and size. Many jump balls in the end zone could just as easily go over to Gates. I think Vincent Jackson will probably score, but it will be more likely on a deep ball.
