He's still around in my league, a ten team non ppr. I'm thinking probably after this week I might grab him depending on my open roster spots. If I had two more roster spots I would have him right now. I love stashing prospective backs and normally the ones I hold onto do well, I actually lose more to the waiver wire compensating for injuries than I do missing out on a quality waiver. I've had a Ravens back all year (McClain now, havent had to play him) and had Buckalter for the first three weeks until I had to drop him. Holding onto Stewart, picked up Slaton week two.

I've already grabbed him in my main money league. Reports are that he is back at practice this week, and will be able to play in early November, so a couple of weeks. I don't know if he will be the feature RB when he comes back, but if you have a roster spot that's being taken up by a scrub right now, better to go ahead and get Torain while he's available.

If you're trying to decide who to drop, look for the guy that has a low ceiling.

Would you drop J Norwood for R Torain?

yes.

Torain has the potential to be the "feature back" in Denver, which is a way better situation than Micheal Turner's backup, heck even being in the rotation as #2 in Denver is better.

Gone is 13 out of the 14 leagues I am in. At least 3-4 he was picked up in the last 10 days.

Grab him now or he will be gone

Just a heads up to everyone thinking that he is a lock to become the starter in Denver, he was not that good when he played for ASU. He was a great cutback runner so he would probably do alright in Denvers zone blocking scheme (who doesn't) but really had no long speed at all in college. If I am remembering right, he ran a 4.6 at the combine.

we have a generous IR squad in our main $ league, so I picked up Torrain the day after the draft in August and stashed him there. Hoping it will pay off.
