wow I guess I don't watch much tv.

Wondering when some shows return with new episodes this winter? Here’s a list of returning shows (with premiere dates in parenthesis):
24 (January 11th & 12th) have seen a couple episodes
According to Jim (December 2nd) heard of it, never watched it
American Idol (January 14th) aware of it, don't watch it
The Bachelor (January 5th) never watched it
Battlestar Galactica (January 16th) seen one episode
Big Love (January 18th) never heard of it
Breaking Bad (January 18th) never heard of it
Burn Notice (January 22nd) never heard of it
The Closer (January 26th) never heard of it
Damages (January 7th) never heard of it
Flight of the Conchords (January 18th) never heard of it
Kyle XY (January 12th) never heard of it
Lost (January 21st) have seen one or two episodes
The L Word (January 18th) only aware of it due to article in a men's magazine
Medium (date hasn’t been announced yet) never heard of it
Monk (January 9th) never heard of it
Nip/Tuck (January 6th) heard of it, never seen it
Psych (January 9th) never heard of it
Scrubs (moves to ABC, date hasn’t been announced yet) funny show, watch it when I can
Secret Diary of a Call Girl (January 18th) never heard of it
The Secret Life of the American Teenager (January 5th) never heard of it

That's me too. I'll watch a Scrubs rerun on occasion, tried watching one Lost show and got bored, have seen a couple old Monk shows, and haven't sniffed any of the others. I'm probably out of touch and too far gone by now.

Anybody watch Time Warp on the Discovery Channel? I've been watching that along with How It's Made with the kid and they're pretty entertaining shows.

Yes, I like Time Warp quite a bit. Slo-mo video has always been cool, so a whole show dedicated to it is worth watching, IMO. I wish the show was an hour long, not 30 minutes. It seems too rushed sometimes. I wish they had more time to spend on some things.

Watched Top Chef Season 5 Episode 1 last night...wasnt a great episode but that show usually takes a few epiosdes to get good anyway...hopefully it will inspire me to make something good...although the wife is a picky eater so i'm limited in my creativity

ABC has decided not to order more episodes of Pushing Daisies, Eli Stone, or Dirty Sexy Money. All three shows will film/air 13 episodes for this season and that’s probably it for them. At least I assume they’re gonna air all the episodes they make, but sometimes networks do change their minds.

ABC did order four more episodes of Life On Mars which brings the total order of episodes for this season up to 17 (so far).

The CW has pulled the plug on their Sunday night lineup which included Valentine and Easy Money.

I can do without Daisies...it's an OK show but i wont really miss it.
Eli i gave up on before Season 2 started
I will miss DSM, but not that much
Mars is pretty good, but nothing i look forward to all that much

hopefully Fox will not order any more episodes of Fringe...i keep watching but it puts me to sleep. another show that isnt really all that special

on that note, there arent alot of shows i look forward to all that much...right now i'd have to say Lost, Big Love, Mad Men, Breaking Bad, True Love, Always Sunny and Top Chef are about it. other than the rest of the shows i watch are "just something to do"

oh well, with all these cuts and December hiatus coming up maybe i can catch up on some movies or Dexter Season 2
