Caught a couple episodes of Whale Wars on Animal Planet yesterday, those people are nuts! I think it's really cool they're out there standing up for what they believe in and trying to do what they can to stop commercial whaling, but jumping from a speeding Zodiac onto a Japanese whaler thats moving at 14 knots in the middle of the icy Antarctic? Yikes!
OK - few shows make me actually laugh out loud these days, but the Office is one of 'em.
I am in the middle of Season 3 (a gift from my lovely wife) and just finished the episode where Michael goes to a Japanese restaurant and back to the office with 2 waitresses. Cindy, one of the waitresses, is into him, but he can't tell the two apart because he is drunk, so he marks Cindy with a Sharpie. Hilarity ensues as it always does.
Ladies and gentlemen, one of the funniest shows on tv today...THE OFFICE!

I have to admit, I stopped watching the mentalist as I said a few pages back... and I stopped because they moved away from the red john scenario and Jane was always right. It's ratings made me give it a second chance and continue.... well... it's still not great, but they brought back the red john storyline and it's not horrible... I'll watch til the end of the season now hoping for closure... or at least for it to get better. Remember, shows like The Office were almost canceled after season 1... so maybe this is just an average first season and it will turn out to be pretty good as it progresses.

Good lead in from the season teaser back in November.
I liked it. Easy to understand, and not ridiculously unrealistic.
I used to like this show, and I watched two full seasons before. But by episode 16, I was usually tapped out. Some of those earlier episodes were ridiculously unrealistic. Jack Bauer was always beating up his own colleagues and getting into firefights at least once every hour. It's still a decent show. I just don't watch it anymore.
