i finally got around to watching the premiere of lie to me on fox starring tim roth and i have to say it was pretty good. i'm a big roth fan so i may have been predisposed to seeing him in something but the show has some promise. it will be more serialized obviously dealing with a different case in each episode form the looks of it but it hay have some legs as the acting was pretty good all around.there's seems to be some room for overall character development over a long term period which should be nice as well.it was a lot better than i thought it was going to be.

I just watched Lie to Me online. I thought it was spectacular. I'll have to start DVRing it because I can't watch it live since it's on at the same time as Lost.

I don't watch any TV shows live anymore. I DVR just about everything I like and then watch it all that way. Even if Lost is coming on, I'll watch something else so I can watch Lost later without the commercials.

it was good...i was worried when i saw Jimmy Smits was in it but he was good in it

we watched Season 2 on DVD in like 2 weeks and didnt want to wait for Season 3 DVD so just ordered Showtime and watched them all On Demand ($7.99 a month for showtime is much cheaper than the DVD...although i'll probably still buy it to complete the collection)

torn on keeping Showtime. US of Tara looks OK but not sure it's worth it.

Yeah there isn't anything on Showtime other than Dexter that's all that great. Weeds used to be but I've heard it's really fallen off this season, and I have no idea about Californication. I've heard it's OK...came with US of Tara. Shannon loves The L Word so maybe between that and Dexter it might be worth it for us. :-?

Really? I tried to watch it but just couldn't get into it...I think I only watched the first disk, or maybe just the first few episodes. Does it take a while to get going? :-?
