Week 9 Games Talk

Postby deerayfan072 » Thu Oct 23, 2008 4:55 pm

Get ready for a long Saturday.

The top games won't be crammed into the 8 p.m. Eastern time slot, as they have been in recent weeks. Instead, it will be an all-day smorgasbord.

Texas Tech and Kansas start things off at noon Eastern in what's sure to be another showcase for Big 12 offenses. The day ends with USC and Arizona battling to remain in the Pac-10 lead at 10:15 p.m. In between are marquee matchups in the SEC (Georgia at LSU, 3:30 p.m.), Big 12 (Oklahoma State at Texas, 3:30 p.m.) and Big Ten (Penn State at Ohio State, 8 p.m.).

Looks like Pat White want's to help Auburn out a little. War Eagle moving the ball pretty well here after the INT, a few nice 3rd down pick ups.

Yeah Auburn looked really good actually on that first drive, WV tightened up at the goal line though and held em to a field goal. If Auburn can keep this style of play up, stretching WV out and gashing them, they should be able to compete. Not sure they'll be able to sustain this for the whole game though. :-?

I'll tell you what, WV better not turn the ball over anymore or they will be in trouble.

Right on cue White throws his 2nd pick and Auburn now has the ball inside WV's 30 yard line. 8-o

For the second week in a row, I'll be missing all the action (except the Gator game) for family related stuff. Man, some freaking awesome games too. Is it too late to re-neg and choose college football over family?
