'pitch' is just a term that we use to mean playing area; i.e football pitch
The Scottish call the playing area the 'park'
USA its just called the 'field'

No correct or incorrect version, just different for different parts of the world.

'Pitch' doesn't (at least in UK) relate to pitching in the sense of a boat pitching from side to side. It's purely a different word for field.

Hope this helps.

Next up, Limey's beer guide ;-D :-S

Kudos to the uberdesigner 'soty' for the sig!

Looks like we got a shootout in our hands. I just hope Gates and Colston get some more recpetions, yards and maybe even another TD for Gates. ;-D
A win next week and all is forgotten.

Wow. What a game, Rivers put up 36 pts in my league, 300+ 3 Tds. Should have had a 4th, but a hold negated it. Weather was not a problem, but man, those refs called every single penalty they could. 14 on the Chargers alone. I know it's not just me, but between the penalties, fines, and in-game advertising, the NFL is pissing me off this year. Just let them play.

Maybe it's just me, but I'm not benching anyone in this game. Could be a low scorer or it could turn into a slugfest 60+ pointer.

good call ken ;-D
