I just dont see Lions winning a game, Bengals only chance in my eyes in Week 17 finale at home to Chiefs.

With other teams having 2 wins, I cant see any of them being caught by the Lions or Bengals.

I would hope the Bengals will trade down cos we need all kinds of help .

You just know Mike Brown is trying to crap a kidney worrying about the potential of a #2 or multiple high round draft picks :-o

I have mixed feelings, as a Bengals fan I'm loving the value of a #1 or #2 pick (whether it be a single player or for multiple picks) but at the same time I know chances are we are just going to waste it.

Spot on! It churns my stomach when I see the players other teams have drafted in recent seasons performing at the very highest level (Pro Bowl etc).

If stay at #2 I hope we get Oher or the kid from Virginia to build the O-Line around.

I'd still like to trade down, moderately.

The ONLY guarantee id that whatever we decide to do will be in the interests of preserving Browns wallet and NOT improving the team.

I think if we do have such a high draft spot it would ideal time to ship out lewis and the brokwn brain scouts we have. Any other franchise would have shipped them out long before.

We cant afford to blow this rebuilding opportunity :~(

wow...i think your are right. going to be pretty tough for both these teams.

i do think the bungles have a chance against the brownies along with the chiefs...and im guessing both of these teams will pull 1 upset down the stretch.

still...i think they both get the top draft picks.

I hope Benson really performs top-notch the rest of the season so we aren't tempted to spend a high pick on that position. Same with WR unless it's Crabtree.

I think the only real guarantee besides the fattening of MB's wallet is that we don't draft a CB.

With JJ, Hall, and David Jones that is the last thing we need.

I hope the Lions put together together a good front office (not to mention putting Ford Sr out to pasture!) - Pres, GM, scouting dept, coaches, etc, in time to properly prepare for the draft - that and some some good FA acquisitions and no reason this franchise can't be turned around in a few short years as other teams have done. I'd really like to start wearing my Barry Sanders jersey again on Sundays during games (when the Steelers aren't on at the same time of course!).

If the Lions don't draft a QB or olineman with that first pick next year, well they'd be idiots. In fact, they should be drafting both of those in the first round: preferably a possible franchise QB with their top five pick, and the best available offensive lineman with the pick they got for Roy.

I'd like Stanton getting a chance before they bail on him and draft a high priced-QB.

Well, I C -Pep does go to Chiefs on a multi year, thatll remove the most likely QB landing spot in the top 5 picks of the draft.

I shudder to think of the Lions with the #1 pick. It will be Matt Millen's crowning achievement. Scarier yet are the leaks that come out of the Allen Park Compost saying how much they like Mayhew and how highly regarded he is. They may keep him as GM (save some coin since they still have $5 Millen dollars to pay the old GM) and that would be most likely disasterous. He hasn't the experience for the epic rebuilding job needed in the Motor D.
Sad too is that there doesn't seem to be any clear cut, no brainer #1 pick this year.
